But, using the face as a means of identifying\npeople is much safer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Given that\nsecurity is an important aspect in many buildings, one should have a special\nwarning with vendors that claim to perform the function of recognizing people\nbut, in reality, they do not use technologies that guarantees a performance or\ncompliance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>LFIS facial\nrecognition software from&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.gemalto.com\/\">Gemalto<\/a>, is\napproved and tested by the NIST, and recently, &nbsp;its algorithm finished as top 1 in the Biometric\nTechnology Rally held by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS).
